For all its danger and ever-present violence, Zangaro is a beautiful country. It's worth visiting if you don't mind the occasional coup d'état. The fishing in the Zangaro River is superb and the Crystal Mountains are gorgeous. Just don't get between the Caja and the Vindu, or between the Caja or Vindu and marauding Manandese, and don't go anywhere without a gun and several friends who also have guns.
Looking for a contracting job? There's always PMC work to be had in Zangaro.

Their shoulders held the sky suspended;
They stood, and the earth's foundations stay;
What God abandoned, these defended,
And saved the sum of things for pay. (Houseman)
"In my jungle, you'd be just another asshole."
